Required Skills & Experience:
Generation Electrical Engineer
Bachelor of Science in an Accredited Electrical Engineering Program
Minimum eight (8) years electrical engineering and design experience related to power generation in hydro, fossil fuel and gas facilities. Experience at a consulting design firm is desirable.
Professionally Licensed in the state of Michigan is desirable but not required
Project Engineer
Bachelor of Science in an Accredited Electrical Engineering Program
Minimum five (5) years electrical engineering and design experience. Experience at a consulting design firm with commercial, institutional, and educational facilities is desirable.
Professionally Licensed in the state of Michigan is required
Design Engineer
Bachelor of Science in an Accredited Electrical Engineering Program
Entry level position. Experience through an internship at a consulting firm and experience working with design / drafting software (AutoCAD) is desirable.
Mechanical HVAC Engineer:

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor of Science in an accredited Mechanical Engineering program
Five years consulting engineering design experience
PE license
Piping Designer:
We are currently seeking a Piping Designer to work in-house alongside a team of Designers under the direct supervision of the Engineers and Senior Design Draftsman. He/She will work on a wide range of projects to produce construction quality drawings and 3D models associated with the power, chemical and food industry.
The successful candidate will need to provide the following Tasks:
Prepare P&IDs as directed by supervising engineer
Generate design and detail drawings including; plans and sections, orthographics, 3D models, isometrics, creating engineering and construction packages
Must have a thorough knowledge of piping materials, pipe support systems and construction methods.
Estimate work hours based on scope of work
Interact with Clients to convey project design and identify scope changes
Interact with other departments and suppliers to obtain pertinent information
Proficient in standard drafting techniques
Be able to conduct field investigations, take field measurements, create sketches and generate on site piping design decisions
Resolve issues, coordinate/communicate with a multi-discipline design team
Ability to travel to work sites
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
Associate Degree in a technical discipline. BS in Mechanical Engineering a plus.
4+ years of relevant Piping Design experience required
Proficient use of AutoCAD software required
Excellent oral and written communication skills required
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products
